  Friends of Dongyu Gatsal Ling is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the education standards and living conditions of Tibetan Buddhist female monastic communities by increasing public awareness about the challenges they face, and raising funds to strengthen their present and future stability. FDGL supports the mission and purposes of Dongyu Gatsal Ling Nunnery as a model of self-sufficiency and independence for the future of female spiritual advancement in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
